Wow. So June went down like maple bourbon, neat. Burn was delicious and the residual flavor sweet, leaving me slightly muddled at the end.
I’ll explain.
First the burn. That Urban Fantasy promo I did last month was super stressful, but totally a slam dunk. I’m beyond psyched to have so many new readers and share a sneak peek of my cover for Flame & Shadow before it goes live in February! I promised it would be out of my hands and in production with a release date come July and TADA!
Yeah, shocked the hell out of me, too. Don’t get used to the universe cooperating with me on any level, but for once it threw me a meaty bone (Yep, here comes the sweet) and come November 13th, 2023, Flame & Shadow will be available through Amazon, iTunes, and Kobo.
And the muddled? Guys, my publisher has requested book 2 of the Dae Diaries, Air & Darkness.
I know, right?!
Yep, and it’s been submitted, as in totally in their hands, keep your fingers crossed and don’t drop any shoes. Especially the other one. That said, I hate keeping you guys waiting, so I *may* have written a novella, Playing with Fire.
It’s a prequel to One Night in Bliss that goes back to Envy’s casino days. I’m hoping to have it buttoned up in the next month or so, and it will only be available via my newsletter as a thanks for all those cool cats for hanging out with me.
As always, disregard the universe snickering at my plans, and hopefully the prospect of another halfling adventure doesn’t leave you nonplussed. Shoot me an email and let me know if you’re as revved up to read it as I was to write it! And speaking about reading…
What have you got on your Kindle for this Fourth of July? Because let’s be honest, having your nose in a smexy book is way better than dealing with your sister-in-law.
Not that I have any experience in that regard.
Ahem. Anyways, if you’re interest in some sass to distract you when a certain denizen of hell shows up at the barbecue, sign up to be an ARC reader for Flame & Shadow by shooting me an email! You get a no-cost-to-you advanced copy of the book in exchange for writing an honest review. I hope to hear from you! Until next time…
